Roo

Roo is a female white rabbit. She appears to be closest in appearance to a Florida white. She weighs around 6 lbs. Roo enjoys roaming out of her cage and will crawl into any cat bed she can find, including ones that are already occupied. Roo is unafraid of cats but seems wary of dogs. She likes other rabbits and will try to get into cages that do not belong to her. She of course does not enjoy being picked up but is happy to sit still for a good ear scratching!

Roo has been at the NHS since May of 2008.

Peter Rabbit

Peter rabbit is a male mini Rex cross and was found abandoned at the beach where he approached the first human he could find. Peter prefers to be in a cage where he feels safest. He loves to be petted and spoken to, and even enjoys attention from cats pawing gently at him, though he does not like being picked up. Peter is very docile and interested in the activity in the office where he lives. Peter uses a litterbox when doing his business. Clean bunny! Peter has been at the NHS since June 2008.
